The Architect Benjamin Garcia Saxe was honored with the Bamboo and Rattan Products Ideas Competition with the 3rd place in the 2010 Expo Shanghai under the Shelter Category.
The awards presentation ceremony for the International Bamboo & Rattan Product Ideas Competition is organised by the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) and co-organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI).
The competition was held against the back-drop of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and was inspired by the Expo’s theme “better cities, better lives”. Twelve prize winners were selected from four categories – food, shelter, transport and clothing.
