Brit Insurance Awards
A Forest for a Moon Dazzler” was shortlisted for the “Brit Insurance Awards” at the Design Museum in London for the “Best Design in the World” in the Architecture Category.
As a key part of the Design Museum’s annual programme the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year awards recognises the best in international design from the last 12 months. The programme consists of a major exhibition held on the entire top floor of the Design Museum, an accompanying exhibition catalogue and an exclusive award ceremony where winners from each category along with an overall winner are announced. Entries are nominated in seven categories: Architecture, Fashion, Furniture, Graphics, Interactive, Product and Transport, by a panel of distinguished design experts who put forward designs that they believe have broken new ground in the last year. From those nominations, a shortlist of 100 projects is drawn up, for exhibition at the museum. This annual exhibition and awards have established themselves as an influential and highly visible public event. Around 100,000 people visited the 2010 exhibition.
