“Designing homes built into jungles poses certain challenges. First, there are the logistical considerations—the terrain is often more rugged and sites are often more difficult to excavate, making proper planning that much more crucial. There’s also the aesthetic questions: How do you both honor and highlight the natural vegetation through design? And of course, architects must also consider the sustainability factors of building in such natural wonders.
